Inclusive Education
SANDIPWAN Inclusive School was established in the year 1990 towards establish an inclusive society by promoting education rights of disabled children. Actually, SANDIPWAN Inclusive School is a project of education, service, special care and rehabilitation. The project runs with the assistance of the local elites. Different types of disabled children take learning in the school in a favourable environment. The curriculum like other school followed as well as scope of sign language for the speech & hearing impaired was available.
Alokito Bhubon (A Centre for Orphan Girl Child).
GBSS has been operating an integrated education program for the orphan girl’s child where the girls have been getting all sorts of support including food, residence and education. Also GBSS has been initiated for skill development of the girls through providing vocational training. At present 10 (ten) orphan girls are receiving services in this centre.
Micro Credit and Assistive Support to the PWDs
The Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) has been established by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh under the “Microcredit Regulatory Authority Act 2006” to promote and foster sustainable development of microfinance sector through creating an enabling environment for NGO-MFIs in Bangladesh. MRA is the central body to monitor and supervise microfinance operations of NGO-MFIs. License from the Authority is mandatory to operate microfinance operations in Bangladesh as an NGO
